About the class:
Join me on the Zoom platform as we submerge ourselves into the wonderful world of vermú. In this one hour workshop, we will start with a brief introduction to vermouth- answering questions like what is the origin of vermouth? Where does the name come from? What are the key ingredients?
Once we are equipped with the theory its time to get your hands dirty as you join me in THE LAB (my kitchen) as I guide you through the process of creating your own home-made vermouth. We will learn two methods: the traditional slow-maceration method which takes several weeks, and the express method where we will have our vermouth ready for consumption by the end of the class!
Upon completing the class, you will have:
- A sound foundation of knowledge about Vermouth
- A freshly prepared bottle of instamouth (tm), developed using the express method and ready for consumption
- A bottle of vermouth macerating, to be ready for consumption within three weeks
